Fellowships and Student Support
TRIF funding is used to support Water Fellowship Awards. Each year, outstanding graduate and undergraduate students studying any aspect of water resources at UA are nominated by department heads to receive awards to encourage and support their research. Recipients are determined by the WSP Executive Committee on a competitive basis. These are exceptional students with the ability to make significant contributions to the study of water resources at UA and beyond.
In 2008/2009 up to four graduate fellowships of approximately $18,000 each and up to four undergraduate fellowships of $2,750 will be awarded. The deadline for submission of application packages is April 30, 2008. Awards will be announced early May and funding will begin Fall semester, 2008.
